ABOUT THE PROGRAM For the last 10 years, the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation has provided scholarships for eligible breast cancer advocates to attend the annual San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS). Each evening the ABCF hosts the “Hot Topics Mentor Sessions”, in which some of the nation’s leading breast cancer experts provide an overview of the most compelling SABCS presentations. In these sessionsall attendees have a chance to learn and engage with the expert panel. These presentations, along with the complimentary CD-ROM and webcast, can be used by patient advocates as tools to be shared with local organizations.
